One Size Doesn't Fit All - Leadership SHIFT Tip

We ask, "What's on the test?" The gurus will tell us to study this and forget that.

Well, that was easy, we conclude. And since we like what they have to say, we keep asking.

We wonder, "What should we wear?" Wear this, not that they tell us.

We query, "What should we eat to be as healthy as you?" Eat this, not that they suggest.

We ask, "What exercises should we do to be as fit as you?" Do this program, not that they explain.

We believe that if it works for them, it will work for us.

But if we're all different, then why do we believe that one size fits all?

"You have your way. I have my way.
As for the right way, the correct way, and the only way, it does not exist."

- Friedrich Nietzsche

There will never be a shortage of tips on "what to do" to help make the journey toward success and happiness easier. And many will work for many, but all will not work for all.

And in a world where storming the castle is competitive, the secret isn't in "what you do." No, the way to get the keys to the castle is to focus on "how you do it."

When in doubt you can always start with self-awareness, gratitude, and empathy.  These never go out of style, always fit, and look fab on everyone regardless of size.
