When will it get easy?

Back in 6th grade, one of my teachers gave us a "What do you want to be when you grow up?" assignment. Back then I dreamed about being a Navy pilot and astronaut.

Last week I thought about that assignment when I was in La Jolla, CA and traveled up the PCH, down to San Diego, and past the former Naval Auxiliary Air Station in Miramar as known as Top Gun. I felt like I was 11 years old again as our F-18s filled the sky with adrenaline and Kenny Loggin's "Danger Zone" looped in my head.

But I wasn't there to fly jets or play beach volleyball with Goose and Iceman; instead, I was with a select group who inspired me to push through a challenging “Maverick moment” as we climbed to 5,400 feet.

This week's video is about surrounding yourself with those (aka your peloton) who can motivate you beyond your beliefs and keep you pedaling toward a better tomorrow.

And to help you build your peloton, you can download this worksheet to ensure that you have the right people serving as your co-pilots.

Until next week, have fun storming the castle and give a shout-out to someone who is supporting your climb toward mastery.

Michael
